BP Normal Values
I want to no what is the normal BP value.. I have seen internet that it is 120/80 but some doctor says 140/90 also normal and some doctor says till 160/100 also no need to worry.. i. Very anxious regarding this.. please tell me what is the Normal Value for blood pressure..

140/90 is the cut off for normal. However a lot of other factors also needs to be considered. Somebody who had a bp of 200/120 before and now having 160/100 obviously is nothing to worry.

120/80 is normal 121-129/80 - elevated bp 130-139/80-89 - stage 1 hypertension >140/90 - stage 2 hypertension Treatment for any of these is initially to change lifestyle....later needs further treatment.

Its 140/90. 120 +- 20 80 +- 10. Anything above that is not normal.

American heart association guidelines office blood pressure of 130/80 above which have to be considered as hypertension also it is the target blood pressure range to be achieved in high risk patients like diabetic cardiovascular risk complication etc

160/100 is never normal. some variability can occur with age due to hardening of vessel.
