High ESR value in test
My mother had ESR test. That value was 85. while the normal ESR range is 0-20.
We also did CECT ( Contrast enhanced CT ) chest and abdominal but they call came clear. Can you suggest the possible reason of high ESR value ?
what other test should be done. She have mild arthritis and osteoporosis.

ESR is a non specific test which increases when there is any infection or inflammation in the body. In your mother's case it is increased due to the arthritis.
