there are numerous reasons for this. first the risk of infection to the baby is there with use of bottle feed. then there is nipple confusion as baby need to suckle from the breast with some efforts but with bottle the effort is reduced so next time baby wont accept breastfeed. this leads to decrease in brestmilk production also. 3rd reason is problem of bloating due to excess air baby swallows with the bottle feed. so avoid bottle feed
