Hi if it's mild pain and X-ray shows signs of arthritis then better start RESPECTING PAIN. As the signal of pain means that you need to slow down or for that matter stop any activity giving rise to pain. Remember we are getting rid of the CAUSE of pain and not just pain. Very often with modifications in lifestyle like avoiding Painful activities and strengthening your existing muscle power along with maintaining good diet and weight is all that matter to get rid of pain. If you opt for cycling on a stationary one at home make sure you do it in front of a TV with a program you would like to watch. It WORKS better.
