Borderline personality Disorder
One of my friend consulted clinical psychologist. Took MCM test.. She got abnormal scores in several aspects. Diagnosed with Borderline personality.. She was also a dependent. Can it be cured with counseling sessions. How to approach further.. Please guide us.

With therapy, client can learn to deal with their unhelpful behaviours in order to lead a life that is well adjusted. The primary focus is the journey of learning and unlearning, not a goal of perfect behaviour. Kindly consider booking a session with a psychologist.

She should opt for DBT therapy and some pharmacological treatment will be required

Dear sir it can be treated with psychological interventions like dialectical behaviour therapy. Needs a lot of motivation from your friend.

Greetings Personality is defination of how the particular person is in their life. We can definitely modify some behavioural patterns as mentioned earlier with intervention like Dialectical behavioural therapy but it isn't something to be thought as disease to cure. A high motivation required by client to bring a change in them Thank you
