Hey doc! My mom has gaps in the lumbar because of which her leg pains and when we visited a doc nearby he said we’ll have to do operation only then it’ll be fine and if the operation won’t be successful then she won’t be able to walk she’ll have to take rest so I hope you’d help me with this it doesn’t pain more oftenly but it does when she sits a lot and doesn’t rest by sleepin

Greetings,  sorry about the pain. Never jump to do surgery.  Surgery is not the solution for most back pain and for your mother as well.

get to see a physiotherapist specialised in posture correction,  you mothers problem is solved.  back pain of your mother is for two reasons,  a.poor core muscle strength b.undue muscle tension causing excess stress at lumbar disc and sacrum bone.   both can be cured by doing trigger point therapy which physio is best at these.
