Bone swelling back of ear

I'm 30 years old. Yesterday I found that my bone which is back of my left ear has bulged. I have no pain. But compared to right side its lightly bulged. I'm much afraid. What could be the reason. For the past one week I had severe itching in my head due to lice and dirt. Could it be the reason. Which doct should I consult
