Namastey Based on your symptoms—pain during passing stool, bleeding, and a painful boil-like swelling near the anus—the condition may be related to Anal fissure with surrounding inflammation, or possibly an inflamed external pile/swelling in the anal region. Severe pain during toilet use with fresh bleeding is very commonly seen in fissures, especially when stools are hard or there is repeated straining. Sometimes the surrounding tissue becomes swollen and feels like a boil due to irritation and inflammation. If the swelling is becoming very painful, warm, or increasing in size, then infection or abscess formation can also be a possibility and should not be ignored. However, most anorectal conditions of this type are treatable and improve with proper care and bowel regulation. Avoid panicking, but do not delay attention if symptoms are persistent for weeks.
Next Steps
Avoid straining during bowel movements and do not sit for prolonged periods on the toilet. Keep the stool soft naturally through hydration and regular eating habits. Warm water sitz baths (sitting in comfortably warm water for a few minutes) can help relax the area and reduce discomfort. Maintain gentle hygiene and avoid harsh rubbing after passing stool. Since your symptoms include persistent pain and bleeding, a proper clinical evaluation is important to identify whether this is fissure, piles, or another anorectal condition and to guide the right treatment approach. For confidential and professional consultation, you are encouraged to connect with us at 9 3 1 5 6 6 1 5 6 5, where we provide holistic and patient-focused care for anorectal disorders.
Health Tips
Drink adequate water, avoid constipation, and include fiber-rich homemade foods in your routine. Avoid excessive spicy, deep-fried, and very dry foods if they worsen bowel irritation. Gentle walking and regular bowel habits are helpful for long-term anorectal health. Early management usually prevents these conditions from becoming more painful or chronic over time. Thank you

Painful swelling/boil near the anus with bleeding during stools may be due to a fissure, infected hemorrhoid or a perianal abscess. Since pain and bleeding are present for weeks, proper examination is important to confirm the cause and prevent complications. Avoid self-treatment, constipation and straining. Please consult me with details/images so I can guide the right treatment safely.
