I'm Suffering From Myopic Astigmatism And Dry Eay Also. For This, Doctor Prescribed Me A Gel Called "Hylo Gel". I Previously Used The Gel in My Left Eye For 1 Year And For A Week, I'm Using It For Both Of My Eye by Consultant Of An Opthalmologist. But, I've been noticing that for a while now That I'm Having Blurry Vision After Applying This Gel in My Left Eye. What's The Problem Doctor? Should I Continue To Use The Gel or Should I Stop Using The Gel? Please Advice Me, Doctor.

Lubricant gels can cause transient blurring of vision. Becomes OK after a couple of blinks. Should use them frequently followed by rolling movement of eyes with lids closed and then steady complete blinking of lids.

Hi.. It is normal to see little blur after gel application. That's why we tell the patient about it and advise them to blink 20 times after applying, if putting in the morning ...to spread and also to clear the vision.
