Bloody nose
Hi I am a 32 year old female during summers I get dry nose and the mucus in my nose turns bloody that is it turns blood stain causing me a little bit of discomfort previously I was never having it but since past few years I am experiencing this situation. Is this condition something to think of or is it normal please suggest what should I do to overcome this situation

Epistaxis Sx - nose bleed. PE - • Nasal cavity/Nares. • Septal deviation.
Next Steps
Dx - CBC. Coagulation studies (PT, PTT, INR). Nasal endoscopy (look for neoplasm).
Health Tips
Tx - Oxymetazoline nasal (Afrin) (0.05%) nasal drops, 2-3 sprays in each nostril Q10-12h PRN. Mupirocin topical (Bactroban) 2% ointment. Cefuroxime axetil 250-500mg BID for 7-10 days. Cautery. Prevention: Avoid picking or rubbing inside the nose. Home humidification. Apply petroleum jelly, saline spray or saline nasal gels to discourage intranasal excoriation and thereby help preserve mucosal integrity.

its dryness..u cn use Vaseline to keep it moist bt nt too deeep.. take vapour inhalation if problem persists c an ENT surgeon near by
