At 7am fasting sugar is 95. After one hour it increases to 120. No food or liquid taken between tests.

This is common as we have many other counter regulatory hormones such as cortisol they rise in morning hours with peak around 8 to 10 pm. They can mount blood glucose rise so this variation can be seen even without having anything
