Blood platelet count decreased to 1.1
Blood platelet count has decreased by 0.3 after one night, the patient is stable but is there something to worry?

Hi,
There is a big drop in platelet count. My suggestion would be to keep him under observation and twice daily platelet monitoring.
He should take plenty of fluids, platelet transfusion is done when platelet is less than 10000 or there is any bleeding.
Watch out for warning signs, monitor blood pressure.
