Blood in urine
Hello, My sister experienced bleeding and passed clots after urination. The doctor recommended some tests, and I have attached the reports. At present, she is feeling normal and there is no blood in her urine. She is on medication. I would like to understand what the reports indicate. Is there a kidney or bladder stone? Is surgery required?

Passing clots in urine usually indicates bleeding from the urinary tract, and if the ultrasound mentions a bladder mass, it needs careful evaluation. If she is currently stable and bleeding has stopped, that is reassuring. But the presence of a reported mass means it should not be ignored. Further evaluation (repeat imaging or cystoscopy) is usually required to confirm the diagnosis. Whether surgery is needed depends entirely on what the mass actually is. I would strongly advise a proper urological assessment with report review to decide the next step. You can book a consultation so we can guide you appropriately.
