Blood in saliva
For few days I've found blood in saliva when I wake up from bed be it in morning or in afternoon. Not daily but 2/3 days a week. Till date no coughing and blood does not come other times. Previously it was Rusty colour but not saliva is red coloured. Consulted a dentist on-line, and she prescribed Microdox Lbx (2 cap daily for 5 days), Becosules cap (1 cap for 1month) and Hexidin mouthwash (2 times daily for 2 months) and suggested deep cleaning at the earliest. Started medicine from today. Is it an oral problem or any serious problem?

Hi... hope you are doing well. Don’t panic. I will advise you to first get your teeth cleaning done so that these medicine will be more effective. Do warm saline gargle 3-4 times in a day. You can apply metrohex gel on your gums.Just gently massage it all over your gums.

Along with those medications get scaling done I'll never asap. Luke warm salt gargle several times a day regularly is also helpful, if you have high blood pressure do not use salt in this process. Mouthwash: Once a day until scaling done, followed by once in every 2 or 3 days,, after meal, 5-10 drops maximum in your mouth, hold for next 2-3 minutes, mouth will salivate automatically once mouthwash is held in mouth (so no need of external dilution with water) spit out and do not eat drink anything or rinse mouth for next 15-20 minutes. And brush off teeth thoroughly after 20 minutes.

Donot panic... Lukewarm salt water gaurgle 4-5 times in a day shall help. If your condition doesn't get any better in 3 days..... Visit a nearby Dentist.... A dental checkup will help in ruling out and accurately diagnosis where exactly the bleeding is happening from ( cavity/gums/ throat etc)

Dont wry..do mouthwashing and take meds regularly, but the problem wont be completely solved until we remove the cause, so go to the dentist and get your mouth checked at earliest.I also want to know do u have any medical condition..if yes, then it has also has to be evaluated and treated accordingly.
