Since the last two days, I have been noticing thick mucus with brown-colored blood in my morning snot. The weather here is cold, and my nose feels dry. I have had a habit for a long time of breathing through my mouth while sleeping at night since my nose often gets blocked.
On the night of February 4th, I was feeling feverish, so I took Cetirizine and Dolo 650. The next morning, on February 5th, when I snorted and coughed, the mucus (similar to the attached picture) came out. The same thing happened today when I did the same.
This has occurred a few months ago as well when I stayed in a hotel where the air conditioning was too cold, and I felt like I might get a fever. I had taken the same medicines at that time too.
Since this morning, after snorting, I have been experiencing slight pain behind my neck.
I am a smoker since last 10-12 years. Since last 4-5 months, the intake has increased from 4-5 sticks to a pack of 10 or more.
