Blood coming in saliva - oral cancer
My uncle, couple of months back went under surgery for oral cancer. Post that he has undergone radiation therapy for over a month's time. His radiation is done. Now although he is weak, he has been doing well. Recently he started getting blood in saliva/mucus, once or twice a day. Both the doctors, radiation and oncologist said it's common thing nothing to worry. So just wanted to know whether it is fine to have such side effects post radiation.

This may be a result of Radiation mucositis (a side effect of radiation).
Next Steps
make sure you follow up with your radiation oncologist, he/she will monitor the side effect and prescribe necessary medications.
Health Tips
An unlikely cause could be tumor recurrence, however it is rare for a tumor to come back so soon after the treatment. A thorough examination will rule out this possibility.
