Regarding oral cancer
My father underwent a Oral squamous cell carcinoma surgery 5 days back. Today while giving him betadine liquid oral solution for mouth wash i noticed some red patches in mouth. Kindly guide if it's Cancer or something else? It was not present before, came today only. Kindly guide

Is there any lesion/ulcer in that place before surgery?
It can be just post surgical changes/trauma/reactions.
Need physical examination by the surgeon who operated

Review with oncologist
if looks suspicious, need biopsy
otherwise healing medication would be sufficient.
