It’s an option for those who have not benefited from medicines, angioplasty or surgery not being possible due to diffuse and extensive disease in the coronary tree. Not as an alternate and has NICHE role. A specialist cardiologist can take a call after discussing with the patient.

It's only secondary to Medicines and By pass surgery and significant pain despite medicines and revascularization ( either by PCI or Surgery).
