Bleeding with clots not stopping
I am 35 yrs, unmarried,I am having heavy period and sometimes spotting issue since July doctor asked me to take Normoz tablet for 1 month and dexorange syrup and asked to get TSH and Serum Prolactin test done TSH 10.1 Prolactin 24.9 But period didn't stop, Doctor asked me to take Eltroxin 50 mcg daily empty stomach and asked me to take Trapic E for 3 times a day for 3 days I have taken tablets as told by Doctor for 3 days but still period not stopped.earlier it was spotting but after Trapic heavy period started with clots Doctor told to take Trapic MF for 3 more days Today is second day...but still bleeding not stopped.. I have heard about hormonal therapy to stop bleeding ,what is that ,is it similar to taking birth control pills ? Please advise which hormone medicines to stop bleeding

Your thyroid needs correction ..An ultrasound to rule out fibroids polyps  etc to be done ...your endometrial lining needs to be seen ..please see a gynaec for further management.

Hypothyroidism generally not linked with heavy Periods .. If bleeding due to hormonal cause generally it respond to tranexa ... there are high probability of some growth in your case it can be inner lining, polyp, or local cause over cervix etc plz go for examination and usg of uterus and b/l adnexa ..

You need to repeat Serum TSH after 6 weeks of 50 micrograms of Thyronorm to see if you need to increase the dose of Thyronorm

Get ultrasound pelvis done for uterus tubes and ovaries and endometrial thickness

You may need a therapeutic d and c to stop the bleeding if endometrial thickness is more Trapic E dose can be increase 2-2-2
