Bleeding for 40 days pcod
I have PCOD, hypothyroidism, and anemia. my recent  blood test FSH 6.62,  LH 10.920 , i missed my periods for two months, and then on 28th February, I had light bleeding on day one followed by spotting for around 14 days. Since 14th March, I’ve been experiencing continuous bleeding — sometimes light, sometimes like a normal period. Usually, I use only one pad a day, and the bleeding has been ongoing for over 40 days now. I took Pause tablets for 5 days, which helped reduced for two days, but the bleeding started again. Last year, I had a similar issue, and Pause worked that time. I'm worried because the bleeding is not stopping this time, and I’m feeling stressed. Could you please advise why this is happening and what should be done to stop the bleeding? Is it okay to take Pause for more than 5 days, or do I need hormonal treatment? My gync gave me crina ncr 10mg last time when these long spotting pattern continued but my bleeding stopped with pause so i didn't take that harmone med.

Your irregular periods is because of PCOD. If the bleeding stops with pause,no harm in taking it instead of crina. But you need to also take the long term measures of lifestyle and diet modifications as well as metformin depending on your weight to nip the problem in the bud.

Your problem is not for Tele-consultation. You have not shared your sonography report. I personally think that you need a D&C.
