Bleeding and cramps
I had an IUD fitted 5 days ago. I had mild cramping and spotting for the first couple of days but the cramps have greatly intensified (so much that it is very uncomfortable and I struggle to continue with whatever I'm doing at the time) and the bleeding is much heavier. I am fairly certain this isn't a period as it isnt due for another week or so and I only finished taking my contraceptive pill yesterday. Should I call a doctor or is this pain/ bleeding normal?

Pain and bleeding after an IUD is common n normal. However most patients dont hv severe pain. If u feel u hv severe pain n bleed u cn take tab trapic MF twice daily fir 5 days. After that u ll b able adjust to it. Also be sure to check for expulsion
