Hi I have black thick and thin strip running vertical throughout my fingeres of hand and foot. My brother has also the same problem. Is it any infection

Greetings. What you have is something called melanonychia.. This is common in people of Indian or African origin / or in brown and darker skin types. However if it's very dark and only in a single nail, just see a qualified dermatologist for reassurance or you could alternatively send pics on follow up messaging. Hope this helps. Warm regards.
