What does it mean to have black spotting before periods? My periods date was on 21st november. From past two days am able to see black colored amd brown kind off spottings. Please tell me is ut serious? Should i visit gync?

Irregular spotting could be related to medications such as emergency contraception pills , hormonal imbalance ,thyroid disorders ,cyst in ovary , polyp etc.
