Redness of eyes can be due allergic conjunctivitis or dry eyes.Since the child is spending lot of time on screen. He may be having decreased blink rate leading to dry eyes. Also get his eyes checked to rule out any refractive error.
Next Steps
Blink your eyes regularly, take regular break when sitting in front of screen(laptop/tv)
Health Tips
Visit ophthalmologist for assessment of refractive error as well as redness. If required he may need glasses +/- lubricant eye drops for dry eyes
