Bit High Neutrophills
Hello Doctor! Am into my last week in third month of pregnancy..the Neutrophills count was bit High in CBC taken yesterday normal range (50-70) it was 75 for me rest all were ok total WBC was fine hb-10, sugar normal range given(80-150) mine was 74 .that was bit low.is that high neutrophill a cause of concern Please suggest remedies Thank you

I will rate it as a normal report. Neutrophils 75% is just a wee bit high. It is a non specific test. You do this again after a month, it will be different. Hb 10 gm is also normal because about 85-90% of Indian ladies have Hb less than 10gm%. Ofcourse, irrespective of Hb level every pregnant woman gets supplementary iron and Folic acid. Sugar 74mg% is also insignificant. You eat one piece of sweet and do Hb after half hour, it will be different. In Medicine nothing is 100% perfect. 5-10% variations will be there.
