Hello doctors I delivered a baby 2 months ago via c section. I discussed with my doctor regarding birth control options. She suggested me to opt for hormonal injections. Do we still get periods while on hormonal injections?? Will it affect my next pregnancy??

Sometimes u get periods and sometimes not due to injection. It won't affect your next pregnancy. U can go for Injections.

Hormonal injection or dmpa is known to cause irregular vaginal bleeding or absent of periods Next pregnancy will not be affected Effect lasts only 3 months b Side effects may be bloating weight gain Irregular period or absence of periods Better wud be iucd insertion
