Finasteride causes a decrease in Oestrogen levels.
I can't figure out why you have been prescribed Finasteride ( it is used mainly in the males for their sagging sex drive) . However since you are already on Finasteride it is better 5 toy use Novelon for contraception. A barrier contraceptive like Condom will be better .
