Biopsy in Cancer Research Center
I had a 3 cm mass on my right lung.. We are going for Needle biopsy from Saroj Gupta Cancer Research Center in Kolkata, West Bengal.. Is going for a biopsy in a Cancer Center safe? Will they write no cancer in my result if I really don't have cancer? Or will they write cancer anyways as they are themselves a cancer Research center.. Please reply 🙏 I'm in dilemma and mental stress over this

Hi you have to get a lung biopsy from an interventional radiologist or Pulmonologist. The report of cancer depends on biopsy content and size of the tissue removed  if they remove adequate tissue, so then reporting will be complete by pathologist. The biopsy blocks you can take from pathologist fir a second opinion if you are not convinced with their report. There are lot of standard labs in India. .
Next Steps
get the biopsy first
