Betaine HCl for low stomach acid
I have low stomach acid and was advised to take Betaine HCl with pepsin tablet before each meal. I started out with 1 tablet and it’s gone up to 4 now and I still don’t feel any warm sensation or burning up in my stomach. Is it okay to up the dosage to 5 tablets before each meal? Is this something to be worried about?

Have you got your gastric pH done before a diagnosis of "low stomach acid " is made  ? If not then get it done
