A beta hCG that drops from 1800 to 1500 and then rises to 2353, with nothing visible on three ultrasounds, does not follow a typical early pregnancy or a typical miscarriage pattern. This combination needs your gynaecologist to rule out an ectopic pregnancy, where the pregnancy sits outside the uterus and may not show on scan yet.
Next Steps
Please see your gynaecologist within the next day or two with all three reports and ultrasound images. They will likely repeat the beta hCG and scan to track the trend and confirm where the pregnancy is sitting.
