Beta HCg level at 12 weeks
Hi , i am 12 weeks pregnant but my beta hcg level is just 1142. Is it something to worry. Also as per my double marker test all values are normal and its low risk for trisomy 21 but then also the labrotary has recommended further tests. Is it necessary?

You've to get beta hcg repeated at t+2 days to see the doubling time. Any history of previous abortion? Why have you done beta hcg at 12wks? Proper history is important for further management. You can consult me at my clinic GRG healthcare at Cottage no. 9, West Patel Nagar, Delhi, or call eight three eight three eight double two four eight seven for appointment.

It is not possible. there might be typing error from the lab side. If the Beta HCG is 1142, pregnancy cannot be visualised by ultrasound.
Next Steps
Repeat test in another lab
