Beta HCg and miscarriage
Hello doc, I did beta hcg test after 5th week of pregnancy and the result was 242.9 mIU/ml which is very less. my doc said you will have miscarriage. i didn't do test again and after two weeks went for sonography and beta hcg test again. sonography report says i am only 4 week and 5 days pregnant and my beta hcg result value is around 1949 miu/ml is it possible that my pregnancy stopped growing after 4 week and 5 days itself? in sonography only small gsac is visible around 11mm. is beta hcg raise even after miscarriage? looking for your replies doc. note: i have not experienced any bleeding so far not any sort of pain. thanks.

Wait for a week and then repeat sonography. Also start with pregnancy supporting hormones. Start taking folic acid supplement too.
