Hi all,
I need some guidance.
Yesterday I bought an HCG 5000 IU injection called HUCOG 5000 IU. Normally, HCG injection packs include both the powder and the water for mixing, but this HUCOG pack didn’t come with any powder.
Does this mean it can be used directly without mixing anything, or do I need to buy the powder separately?

HUCOG 5000 IU is usually a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder, which means it needs to be reconstituted with the sterile water (solvent) provided. If your pack came without powder, it might be a pre-filled liquid version, but this is uncommon for 5000 IU.
Do not use it directly unless the instructions clearly say it’s ready-to-use. Check the leaflet or contact the pharmacist/manufacturer to confirm.
If it’s indeed only the liquid without powder, you may need to buy the matching powder separately to prepare the injection safely.
