My sister had operation last time of the Ankle tumor in Taiwan, further diagnosed found giant cell tumor.
She had again pain and swelling in her ankle.
The tumour again occurred within 4 month in different location in same ankle. Here is the CT scanned attachment.
What will the best treatment for the GCT that it shouldn't reoccurre?
Is this rarest case ? How much cases come in india.

Chemoablation with liquid nitrogen or phenol is done after intoto excision of the tumor. Later its packed with PMMA bone cement to prevent recurrence.
That being said, despite the best measures there is still a chance of recurrence. Gaint cell tumors are notorious for that.
Hello dear
GCT is known for recurrence and it's quite common in india
I have treated at least 30-40 patients in last 8 years
Best treatment is to remove the tumor and put some adjuvants in the cavity like bone cement/phenol
