My mother recently went for eye checkup as she was having some trouble from eye irritation, very rarely though.
Her IOP was 50 and 30 on that day.
CBR - 0.7 and 0.5.
Doc prescribed Cibrim- T and Dorsun ( both3 times a day in both eyes).
Next day we went to another doc and IOP was reduced to 20 and 15. (Which is massive after one day of medication)
Actually she is very active and daily do HIIT and some tough Yoga poses like leg raises and look down dog poses.
So my question is what is the likelihood of Glaucoma and if yes, then to what extent damage could have happened? I also suspect that exercises that has been proved to raise IOP significantly might have contributed to spiked up IOP on that day? I was reading some reputed NCBI reasearchs and read that certain exercises can raise IOP drastically even for no Glaucoma patients.
And also i want to know whether efficacy of Eye drops for lowering IOP remains lifetime or will it subside by time?
