My mother uterus removed in 2014 one of the stitch was on her belly button. Now she developed infection there. Doctor suggested removal of belly button.

Hi the doctor would have not a described to remove the belly button as such they will have to sort out what exactly is wrong with that particular space is infection then they will have wound debridement and treatment accordingly
