Instead prefer khichdi, curd rice, dal-rice, besan related items. It needs to be in puree or paste form and always off in a bowl.
Can surely give carrot, beet or tomato puree, alone or mixed, but best to add protein to meal in someway or another.
Giving leftover will result in improper weight gain and also child later on also will prefer watery consistency food instead of thicker consistency food.
