Bedwetting in a child more than 5 years is a point of concern. First you have to rule out urinary infections. Then find out if the child is having any stress like bad parenting, divorced parents or any other one. If so try to solve that stress factor. Regarding treatment the first and important point is dont punish the child for bedwetting. Tell him and parents that he will outgrow it with age. Secondly limit water intake. Give dinner about 3 hours before going to bed and limit water intake to 250 ml during dinner. No fluid after that. Urinate the child before going to bed. Give some reward for each dry night. All these will help in solving this issue. And one more no evening coffee or tea. If u want a rapid control try desmopressin nasal spray 1 puff in each nostril before going to bed
