Bcg vaccine site
My 2.5 month old baby had this swelling redness scar at bcg vaccine site.he developed this redness scar from last 3 days.is this indicates any infection.please tell me

dear parents, this is a pustule of BCG vaccine given at birth it takes 6weeks to form a pustule than rupture leaving behind a ulcer which heals slowly leaving a scar mark. when rupture clean with Luke warm water 3to4times a day for 3weeks, no treatment required.. this was expected when BCG vaccine was given. &is known as taken up BCG vaccine or in other words vaccine given was successful . nothing to worry
