Both vaccine safe and effective you can take any available vaccine and after vaccination protection depends on body immune response ( antibody)

Both are good and equally safe. Covaxin in trials has shown better efficacy than Covishield. After 2 dose you may be 60-70 percent protected from diease but you more than 90 percent protected for disease turning into a severe one.
