Bartholin swelling.
I have a bartholin swelling for a long period ( nearly 6 months)and there is no pain or just a swellin which appears on the right side of the bartholin (right side between bartholin and labia). One of my known general doc advised me to do sitz bath and  take cipro and  metro and chymoral forte  for 7 days. And citralka syrup for next 7 days. And asked me to maintain a healthy diet as am so anemic. Will it dissolve on it's down as she has told it's a gland infection. Should I apply anything on the swelling? Please advise ,am scared by the incision procedure and dont want to opt for it as well.

No medicine will treat Bartholine cyst swelling. since there is no pain or discharge u need not take antibiotics as well. The treatment of choice for an uninfected cyst is marsupilisation and definitely not incision and drainage as the cyst will tend to reform again and again
