Hello, bad breath could be because of deposits on teeth surface or food lodged in between teeth. it could also be due to cold , acidity, not drinking enough water, fasting , pungent food, etc. Visit a dentist and get your scaling and polishing done. Brush your teeth twice daily, night brushing is very important. Floss regularly. Rinse after every meal. Visit dentist every 6 months.
Bad breath is from many factors. Few of them are from oral cavity, because of ent problem, because of gastric problem and so. What a dentist can do is we can remove the oral causes of the bad breathe. Even though it persists you have to definitely rule out other causes. Laser treatment is one of the mode to remove oral cause, but it might not be permanent solution if you have other factors causing bad breathe.
Next Steps
consult a dentist/Periodontist and first rule out the oral factor
Hello,
Bad breath can be due to both local and systemic causes.A dentist can only attend to the oral causes.Systemic causes could be due to Gastric or ENT.Lasers are used for disinfecting bacteria on root surfaces but it is not a permanent solution..Meticulous oral hygiene and follow up at regular intervals are important.
