Hi. The most common reason for bad breath is improper maintenance of oral hygiene. ask your child to brush properly twice a day. He also needs to start rinsing his mouth after every meal or snacks. This is as important a brushing.
Regarding the milk tooth, please do not worry. They will fall off naturally. No treatment is required if it is already shaking.
Next Steps
He can do hot water gargles three times a day to reduce gum inflammation and bring down bacteria causing bad breath.

If this doesn't help visit your Dentist for a round of Teeth Cleaning
Bad breath could be related to oral hygiene related issues. It is adviced to have your child's oral check up done to find the source of the problem. Mobile milk teeth at 12 years of age would be normal and it's adviced to wait for them to exfoliate on it own.
Hie.. bad breath and mobility are associated with different causes..
One of the most common is.. pyrohhea / periodontitis..
12 years old child used to have mixed dentition that means some of them are milk teeth and most of them are permanent teeth.. U need to visit dentist for proper clinical evaluation as there could have been delay in the falling of milk teeth too.. so it needs to be removed on time ..
Hie..if milk teeth is loose now then go for an extraction of that tooth...and change his brushing habits ..bad breath could be due to oral hygiene issue ...ask him to do brush twice ...but consult a dentist first...may be he needs scaling ...
