Bad breath
Hi Actually i am having problem of bad breath from last 2 weeks althogh i am having proper care of oral hygiene and teeth. I am brushing my teeth 3 times a day and use colgate plax. But i always feels like i am having bad and unfresh breath. I am having some indigestion problem like burning sensation in stomach. So please recommend me what to do?

If you feel your oral hygene is good, Indigestion problems could also be causative factor for bad breath in your case. Why dont you get yourself evaluated by a physician and appropriate medication and bland diet should help.

Bad breath may be due to various reasons some are oral like deposit or tartar on your teeth , cavities on teeth, gum infection, dry mouth if you have a problem of breathing from mouth..for this you should visit a dentist get your full mouth scaling done and cavities should be restored after that you should follow the hygiene instructions given by your dentist...but sometimes the bad smell might also be due to sinus infections or throat infections for which you should visit an ENT..but stomach infection or acid reflux might also be the cause..so the treatment has to be depending on the cause ...to cre

Bad breath can b caused due to various reasons. Due to smoking n using tobacco products, dental prob such as decay teeth, unclean tongue, gum infections, reduced saliva n dry mouth, ill fitting dentues, salivary gland probs. Other diseases n infections which also cause bad breath r sinus infections, respiratory tract infections such as bronchitis n pneumonia, liver n kidney probs, diabetes, acid reflux from stomach etc. Get scalling done by dentist. Use proper brushing techniques. Brush , floss n use mouthwash twice daily. Massage ur gums with ur finger tips after brushing. Keep ur tongue clean. Rinse ur mouth well after each meal. Get ur decay teeth filled. Visit ur dentist for dental checkups every 6 months to detect n prevent dental probs. Inspite of these measures if bad breath persists, consult a general physician for further evaluation.

There are multiple causes of bad breath. The intra oral causes are commonly gum diseases or decayed teeth. The extraoral causes are commonly GI problems and sinusitis. Hi.. visit a gastroenterologist to solve your stomach related problems. It could be a cause of bad breath. Visit dentist for oral prophylaxis and laser gum treatment. Regards

Hydrate yourself with plenty of fluid intake, take plenty of fruits if still problem occurs consult gastroenterologist for expert opinion.
