Avoid foods like garlic , onions that can cause body odour. Drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated. Maintain oral hygiene by brushing twice daily, rinsing after every meal/snack. Use a mouthwash post brushing at night. Get Professional cleaning done once every year. Use a tongue cleaner to clean the surface of your tongue regularly. Avoid smoking, tobacco to maintain your oral hygiene.

Getting a bad breath is only a sign.there are lot of conditions that produces bad breath. First and foremost is ur mouth must be clean.get a proper cleaning done from a dentist. If ur mouth is clean then again u feel bad breath ,u have to check if u hav sever cold or any lung infection, check ur digestion.
My kind advice is drink plenty of water.It not only cleans ur mouth ,it cleans ur body too.
There are multiple reasons for malodour, and the commonest one is the presence of deposits On The Teeth called as calculus which cannot be removed by tooth brushing and cause continous gum inflammation. They can be removed by a procedure called as scaling for better looking teeth and improve gum health. You should also clean your tongue with your toothbrush after every time you brush your teeth and do not use a tongue cleaner for this purpose.
Maintain a good level of hydration and eat fibrous foods like salads.
Using medicated mouthwashes containing chlorhexidine gluconate will also be of great help (brand names like clohex/hexidine/rexidine, etc).
