My neck and back starts hurting if I study for a long time or do anything for a certain period of time..Sometimes I get a stiff neck and am unable to move it around.

Back pain and neck pain as u mentioned is due to bad posture while sitting and also working or studying below the eye level. I would suggest you visit a Orthopaedic and get instructions on Physiotherapy for strengthening of back and neck muscles and also get ergonomic training.

Go for physiotherapy sessions.
Concentrate on building up strength in the neck muscles. Also follow core strengthening excercises.
