Backpain and diarrhoea
Hi, my friend has been suffering from back pain for almost a month now. She has been taking medicines for it but it has not been cured. Last Saturday, she got food poisoning, she took some medicine and got better but last night she got loose motions and took lomotine and enerzal electrolyte drink. Her back pain has not been cured till now. We were wondering if she has an infection and this diarrhoea and back pain are related. Please help us with your meaningful suggestion. Attached are the doctors prescription.

Back pain is usually not associated with diarrhoea. So it needs to be evaluated if continues or doesn’t become ok.

Generally speaking, backpain and loose motions are not related. Her back pain does not seem to be related to the loose motions because the back pain started a long time back whereas the loose motions have clearly started after eating something recently. Where exactly is her pain? Mid-back or lower back? Is the pain in the centre or is it more towards one side? These questions will help to understand her problem better. If she is your age, generally, improper posture, prolonged sitting and wrong ways of bending forward cause backache. Unless these issues are not corrected, the back pain won't go away. Just tablets won't work.
