Back Pain due to lipoma
Hi, Few months back I had back pain and doctor mentioned that I have a lipoma near lubar join which is creating this pain. I have got a biposy of that and realized that is not cancerous. I was prescribed to get it removed surgically for which I hesitated and from then when I have severe pain I use pain killer. Please suggest, if I should get it removed. Pain is not frequent and goes with rest sometimes. Also will it convert to cancer if I do not go for surgery

Very rarely it can convert to malignancy.2-3% case. You can leave it as such, or go for surgery if bothering you.
