Need to one more view of mri to check for disc prolapse and cord compression .
If it’s significant then have to go for surgery if conservative treatment fails .
Fracture has decreased vertebral height more than 50% and there is retropulsion (backward movement) of the vertebral body - it is causing compression
Might require surgery
Co pression fracture is there
Rest for 6 weeks
Avoid forward bending and lifting weights
Take.etoricozib with mr,
Pregaba , Calcium supplements
Wear lumbar belt
Hello
MRI is showing old healed fracture of one of your back bone.
This causes tremendous pain in back and if nerve involvement is there leg pain too.
Normally in acute setting one needs rest for 2-3 weeks for fracture to get gummy.
Once it becomes gummy we ask patient to start moving around with supportive belt.
Usually fracture heals on its own in 2-3 months.
If even after 3 months fracture is not healing it can be manage with bone forming medicine.
