Baby weight progress
My baby was 2.440 kg at birth. 3.75 kg now in 45 days... is it healthy weight gain ? Pediatrician gave some stamina drops and iron and calcium drops for baby saying less weight .

Regards ! As specifically mentioned by colleagues that the weight is appropriate, I would like to add upon the requirements of adjuncts already given. 1. Calcium drops have been added as your baby was born less than 2.5 kgs, your calcium drops would be fortified with VITD3 which is absolutely an indication till complete one year of age. 2. Iron drops are again a necessity starting 6 weeks of life and should continue atleast 3 months to prevent anaemia in future.

Weight gain for first few months is 30g/day.from this weight gain of baby is normal.

Ideally, your baby should gain 30grams per day for 1st 3 months. So as per the calculations,  weight gain is good.
